In 2025, the Regional National Crafts Council (DEKRANASDA) of Gresik Regency is planned to increase this cooperation by developing and increasing the production of Batik Artisans in Gresik Regency. One of the activities is to improve supporting facilities to continue to empower Batik artisans, MSMEs and SMEs in Gresik Regency in the Creative Industry Sector, as in Dekranasda's mission to increase the competitiveness of handicraft products based on local wisdom with global tastes through the development of Innovation, Design, Creativity and Efficiency. On June 24, 2025, Dekranasda and PT Smelting signed and continued the third year of the Gresik Batik Development program, which is aimed at increasing the impact for Gresik Batik craftsmen.
